A CIHR Health System Impact Program award for our postdoctoral fellow Pierre-Henri Roux-Levy!

We are pleased to announce that our postdoctoral fellow, Pierre-Henri Roux-Levy, has been awarded a fellowship as part of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research's (CIHR) Health System Impact Program. This program aims to provide solutions to major challenges faced by healthcare organizations, and to support the use of evidence-based decision-making processes.

Pierre-Henri and his colleagues from the Commissaire à la santé et au bien-être and the Université de Montréal will be working on updating the concept of population accountability and proposing a framework for its analysis.

Population responsibility aims to maintain and improve the health and well-being of the population of a given territory.

In particular, it is based on the need for strong front-line services. Its deployment will enable us to respond to contemporary issues, support decision-makers and enhance the performance of the Quebec healthcare system. Pierre-Henri's collaboration will be with the CSBE and Université de Montréal teams.

We are proud to see our academic community contributing to the improvement of healthcare services. Congratulations to Pierre-Henri and all the winners for their commitment to a healthier future!
