No fewer than 6 team members were in Ottawa in May for two significant events in primary care research: the annual conferences of Acfas and the Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR).
The team produced four oral presentations, eight poster presentations, and a round table… And it's fair to say that our Chair stars shone again, bringing back no less than four awards in their luggage!
At the “Colloque de la recherche francophone sur les services de première ligne”, two students stood out.
Cloe Beaulieu won the “Coup cœur” award for her poster analyzing the coping strategies employed by nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The prize was awarded by the “Institut du Savoir Montfort ” and accompanied by a $500 bursary.
Jessica Bernier received the Scientific Committee Award and a $500 bursary from the “Chaire de recherche sur la gouvernance clinique des services de première ligne” for her poster on a cardiac rehabilitation program in a remote region. She also received $1,500 from the Unité de soutien SSA Québec to attend the conference.
Marie-Eve Perron and Pierre-Henri Roux-Levy also won first prize in the “Fonds de recherche du Québec en santé”'s infographic competition on data based health research, with “C't'une fois un PREM.”
