A growing research community attended CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean's Research Day on June 5, which was themed “Innovation in Health: A Driving Force for Advancing Health Research and Practice.”
Relevant projects were presented on various subjects, from the DNA molecule to population health and the concrete application of innovation in clinical practice.
For our part, Jessica, Alexe, Catherine, Cloé, Vanessa, Marie-Josée, Pierre-Henri, Marie-Eve Perron and Anaëlle presented the latest results from several of our research initiatives. Anaëlle was awarded 3rd prize in the poster competition for her scoping study entitled “Self-report measurement tools measuring nursing practice in primary care: a study of the scope of available tools and their dimensions” as part of her doctorate.
Samuel Legeay presented the initial results of the iMOgene study, which show an encouraging future for effectively monitoring people with MODY2 diabetes. There are plans to expand the range of tests available outside the region!
Marie-Eve Poitras presented the new nationally accredited training program for primary care nurses. This training, which is available free of charge online, aims to improve professional practices and patient engagement.
Thanks to the wonderful audience and the organizing committee!
