The loop for sharing PROMs and PREMs data from primary care practices that contributed to the PaRIS-OECD project in Quebec is complete!

This week marked the end of an extensive tour across primary care practices  to present the first cycle of analysis of PROMs and PREMs data, stemming from clinics' participation in the PaRIS-OECD initiative in Quebec. In total, more than 1,200 patients from over a dozen clinics across the province contributed to this important effort.

Marie-Eve Poitras, Canadian co-lead of the project, and Vanessa Tremblay-Vaillancourt, national coordinator, travelled many kilometers to meet with most clinics in person! These encounters were incredible and rich in learning opportunities. An article will be published shortly to describe the perceived impacts of using PROMs and PREMs within primary care practices .

Tournée données PREMs PROMs

These knowledge translation activities, grounded in the realities of clinical practice, have helped strengthen our team’s expertise and support clinics in integrating the patient perspective.

We are more convinced than ever that our work is meaningful and impactful—supporting medical and interprofessional teams in primary care, as well as service organization efforts focused on patient-centered care.
